quietude, Kumi Yatake's latest album introduced in Korea, is a large-scale compilation consisting of 49 pieces from her long-term solo piano project, which began in 2020. Themed around “serenity within silence,” the album features spontaneously performed electronic piano (E.Piano) tracks without prior composition, offering a quiet and profound emotional experience that brings inner peace.

This work, imbued with a lyrical mood and a sense of calm spatiality, offers gentle comfort to those seeking solace from the noise of everyday life.

The 49 pieces of the quietude series will be released sequentially in five parts. It is hoped that Kumi Yatake’s quiet sensibility and reflective musical journey will resonate gently with Korean audiences as well.
